I first want to apologize to my 300+ subscribers because most likely you've subscribed to me over the past year for my positive, fun & "upbeat" Britney videos. Well, this one should throw you a bit. It was very difficult and emotional for me to make this. I've become very bonded to this video. I honestly think it was "meant to be". I can't believe how ironic this whole experience has been. After DAYS of working on this, I finally saved the "final" and went to bed... only to wake up the next morning to find out Britney was back in the hospital for the 2nd time. It seems to have been an unexpected and planned intervention. The timing of this is video is so incredible and coincidental. What's also ironic is the still pic of Britney reading about herself in that magazine is exactly how this idea came to me. While in line at the grocery store recently, I was surrounded with magazines with her on the cover. This song, Desperado, was playing on the store's radio. A light went off and I absolutely had to make this video. THE WORDS FIT SO WELL.
I've been a fan since day one. If someone told me 8,9 years ago that I'd be making this video, I simply wouldn't have believed it. I'm fully aware of her troubled life and am very concerned. I sympathize a great deal for what she goes through. I miss the "old Britney", as most people do and this video captures that. I'm tempted to disable the comment option on this video due to the fact that undoubtedly people will smear it with typical hate comments and slander, as is usually the case lately when Britney's name comes up. Show some respect. This video or "message" doesn't deserve that. It's a realistic view of her life right now and the song speaks for itself perfectly. Leave a nasty message, and I'll simply erase it.
Other fans, if I've offended you by making this, I'm sorry, but I'm just keeping it real. I'm trying to be brave and assertive by putting this out there. If you've seen my other videos, you know that I've invested a lot of time creating unique and fun "megamixes" of Britney. Britney, if by a miracle you do see this, please understand this is genuinely heartfelt and my way of conveying my thoughts, as I'm sure other people can relate to. I wish you the best in the near future and hope you "come down from your fences" and turn your life in the right direction. I'm looking forward to the day that I can remove this video. I miss your smile in these clips
